Dale started at Bank of American Fork as a board member in 1971 and joined the Bank
eight years later as executive vice president. In 1988, Dale was named president
and CEO of Bank of American Fork. After serving as chief executive for 16 years,
Dale stepped down to focus on his duties as interim president of the bank’s holding
company, People’s Utah Bancorp, while the CEO transition took place.
Before his banking career, Dale was president and board member of both Alpine First
Thrift and Gunther’s Comfort Air. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance/banking
from Brigham Young University and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
Dale has served as a board member of American Fork Library and Downtown American
Fork, Inc., where he previously was president and chairman, and has also been a
board member and chairman of the Utah Banker’s Association and member of the American
Fork Rotary Club. Dale currently serves as an American Fork City councilman.
